The Top Power Button broken

I've had this iPod for awhile and suddenly the top button just stopped working. I cannot turn it on and the button doesn't click. Its not stuck, but it just won't turn the device on. If I plug it into my computer, the device fires up, but the top button is not functional anymore. Is there a way to fix this? I fear I may have been too rough with the button and pushed the sensor loose so it does not make contact.

Hi,

yes you can repair it. You need the power button flex to fix it. You can use this guide: iPod Nano 6th Generation Headphone Jack Assembly Replacement
