After spling water on my MacBook, the followung issue came:

Each time I try to connect to power it shuts down and I can't turn it on with the charger. Therefore the only solution is to charge it then use it with in battery mode.

Hi Markus thank you very much for your answer my computer is the MacBook 13, 2.1 ghz penryn.

Well I will try to open it up and check it as soon as I save all my files.

I will let you know, however I have to connect the magsafe as it is the only way to charge my MacBook ...

Markus, well I opened it as you told me I cleaned some parts were it was black and blue (burnt) and now it is working perfectly :)

It took about an hour for the entire process and it was definitely worth it !

Thank you for all

What MacBook do you have ??

shurely - i could only guess - but it sounds like damage around the dc-in board or around the battery connector

here are the different MacBooks with the repair guides - pick the right one and open yours as describen in the guide - watch out for burned or corroded parts, there cozld be signs of white/greenish stuff - that must be carefully cleaned with rubbing alcohol

and don't connect the magsafe to your MacBook - everytime you do that it shortens anything inside
