My iPod low battery

hi,

i'm sorry for my english,i would like to make a question, when i connect my iPod to my iMac to charge it,the iPod display says: "please wait very very low battery" and then the message to go to the link www.apple.com/support/iPod.

what have i to do? i have to change the battery i suppose.

hi andrea,

here are a few solutions for the problem

but the main problem is - the battery voltage is (kind of) to low to get charged via usb - had this problem with a few motorola phones in the past. the incoming current is not enough to "start" the device - so the little amount of power that comes in the device is immediatly "blown" out for the start process - so not enough energy goes to the battery.

this could also be a usb problem - if there is not enough power (less than 5v) the device could not charge properly
