Cant backup because need passcode but broken LCD

Ok so my screen broke. I tried to repair it myself with a LCD from ebay and think I screwed the motherboard somehow. Now nothing shows up on the screen, but i can hear noises etc when I play when the home and power buttons so it does still work. But the screen is black and totally unresponsive to touch.

Anyway took it to a technician. He tried 3 brand new lcds screens but none of them work. He told me the motherboard was damaged and wont output to the lcd screens.

Ive decided to switch to an S4 now and want to use the Smart Switch function which essentially takes all my messages and app data from the iphone to the S4 but this requires a backup of the iphone.

When I plug the iphone to my computer it's recognized but itunes wont let me create a backup without entering a passcode on the iphone. :(

What are my options here?

Thanks in advance!

Jay.

You could get a 30 pin to VGA adaptor and control it via a touch screen computer, I'm not sure if this works but it is worth a try

I do not have access to a touchscreen computer or tablet that has a video in function..

Theres gotta be something i can do. Anyway to just wipe the passcode somehow?

to do that you would have to be in DFU and then you will lose everything on your iPhone :-(

Yeah that kinda defeats the purpose of wanting to create a backup to begin with? Anyone else with any ideas at all. I have a spare iphone 4 as well it that helps???

How do you use the 30 pin adaptor with the touch screen

by

You really can't use that adapter since you will still have to enter the passcode on your iPhone until you can use the adapter. Replace the LCD and be done with it:-)
