Screen pulling away from mid frame

After replacing the front digitizer on a iPhone, the glass seems to be pulling away from the mid frame (where the adhesive goes). The scren does not sit flush with the chrome bezel anywhere. Would replacing the front assembly (minus the LCD) fix this? What would? Thanks

Sound like the adhesive was just really weak and quit doing its job. You can buy adhesive templates that are cut to fit the mid frame and replace the existing OEM glue. If that doesn't sound like your cup of tea you can always buy a new digitizer pre installed into a mid frame and that will fix your issue all the same.

There's like a little black border thing that goes around the screen normally and that is completely gone. Plus I have tried the adhesive strips before and haven't had much luck

Sounds like that rubber seal went missing for some reason but you already ordered a new screen assembly so everything should be fine once you get that in :)
