phone will not power up battery contact broken and slightly corroded

Phone will not power up. Slightly corroded and one battery contact looks broken. I have a brand new Galaxy S3 so is there anyway to switch out parts in order to reach internal memory? Desperately need pictures that were not saved to Sd card.

hcnevils, all those images and information is stored on the memory IC's that are soldered to your logic board. Not much of a chance to get to them for the DIY'er. Id try and fix the battery contact, clean the logic board with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush. See if you can get it to work long enough to get to your files. Hope this helps, good luck.

How can I fix the battery contact? Thank you for your help....cleaned it up with alcohol but seems the salt has caused a lot of problems.
