How to attach battery connector back to logic board?

I changed the front screen on my iphone and put the battery back in but it wouldn't charge. I replaced the battery but the connector wasn't there, it was still attached to the old battery. Can I reattach it? If so how?

Bev, you can either try to solder it back on, depending on what the traces look like, or you can run some jumper connections. Either way will require some fine soldering. If you decide to run jumper wires, bridge the points with the smallest wire you can find and use the image as a guide. Reroute any wire so that they are not in the way with the re-assembly. Take a look at this video as well as on here. Both videos show it very well. Because of the intricacy of the solder on the board, I suggest that you practice first, or have someone solder it for you. Hope this helps, good luck.
