Hi!
I do not receive any GPS signal on my 3GS since a month or more.
I'm on the 05.13.04 baseband and iOS 5.1.1
Perhaps reinstalling the OS may help ?
Perhaps hardware damaged ?
I broke the n°3 connexion. The sound works, but not the presence detection. Is there a link between n°3 connexion and the GPS ?

You're right ! It can be a software problem. You may backup your device DATA and restore it with iTunes. Then tell us what happens.
Check that location service is active.
Do you have photos of your broken N°3 connexion ?

Hi !
Here are the pictures of the n°3 damaged connexion.
The connexion can move up on the left side (iPhone normally in front of you). It's not really fixed yet on the motherboard on this side. The second contact is not at his place.

Other question: what is the round "connector" on the back top right of the logic board ? Nothing on it on mine.

The round "connector " is an antenna connector....

Finaly I replaced the WIFI/GPS antenna. It works well.

number 3 cable is for the earpice speaker and proximity sensor, it is not related to the GPS.

J'ai fais une restauration sans succès. Toujours pas de signal (ou très rarement). Est-ce que ça peut venir de l'antenne ? J'ai vérifié le branchement.Tout m'a l'air normal. Je ne sais pas exactement si ça a commencé après avoir démonté mon iPhone pour changer le bouton power (donc dépose de la carte-mère). Mais tout semble bien rebranché.
