Replaced keyboard now laptop won't power up.

Hello, I replaced my keyboard and now that all the pieces are back in, my laptop won't power up. I know the battery is working because it will hold a charge, but the laptop will not turn on... what can I do? I braved the repair myself because they were wanting to charge me $800 to repair the laptop...I paid $27 for the keyboard replacement and then I found this website that helped me do the repair. Help!!! Please and thank you!

You should go over everything once more paying particular attention to geting RAM snapped in, all connectors snapped in (many reassembly problems stem from connectors that "looked or seemed" to be correct but were not) ensure that bare ribbon connectors are right side up, all the way into the slot and with cam lock engaged.

You don't mention why you replaced your keyboard - but if it was due to a liquid spill that may be why your machine wont boot. If so, when you had the top case off you should have examine the logic board for corrosion or burned spots with a magnifier. Corrosion or burned components can kill a laptop.

good luck,
