Flickering backlight... how do I fix it?

I just finished assembling a new front display (LCD and digitizer) on my Verizon iPhone 4 because I had a cracked screen. Everything works great, except the backlight on the screen seems to be flickering...it's very subtle, but soon it will start to drive me crazy Does anyone know why this might be, and how I could go back and fix it?

Yep: my aftermarket replica screen had flickering/pulsing brightness. Over one month of use did not magically break it in or burn it in. Auto-Brightness has nothing to do with it, in my instance. I replaced this copy with a used Apple original, and problem is gone. It was just a lousy copy.
