no response after switched on

hi just replaced screen on my i pad2 home button switches on but when i try to slide across to unlock nothing happens.

Hi David,

I would check out the two connectors of the digitizer first. Are they reconnected according to the provided guide (step 28-30 in reverse order)?

You also want to try a hard reset before doing anything else. Hold down the power button and the home button for 20 seconds. I hope that helps.
