screen is always black after water damage

i put my phone in the 99% alcohol and it made my phone turn back on after the water damage but then my screen went all black and everything else still works i just cant see anything on the screen at all... what do i need to do to fix this

caleb, angle the LCD against a light source, something like a flashlight, and see if you can make out any shapes or shadows. If you do, then your backlight is out for sure. Start be replacing the LCD and see what you get. Here is the guide for that. If after the replacement you still do not have anything, it is possible that either the coil or the IC responsible for the backlight are shortened, this would require soldering on the logic board.
