How do I test 14 pin power supply?
How do i test this 14 pin power supply, ie what cables do i jumper and what do i use for ground. Thanks in advance

akshay patel, you connect PSON (pin 4) with +5VSB (pin 5) to turn it on. You do want to try this with a resistor across the pins first. This PSU may also require a load in order to stay on, so attach a drive or similar to it as well. Hope this helps, good luck.

I've 14 pin compaq pc power supply i turned it on but it will turns off by itself in a few seconds i want to make it lab bench power supply so I don't wanna add any drive or something to it please give me some advice on how to make it stay turned on what components should i add?
