I dropped my iphone and it cracked my front screen. i thought it was okay because it still worked perfect. But the next day i was getting somthing at walmart and my iphone fell out of my pocket and hit the floor. ever since that happened the only time my phone works is on the charger. is this the charger port or the battery? help?

If it was the charging port you wouldn't really be able to use it while it was on the charger... maybe check the battery connection.

more than likely it's your battery. In some cases the logic board could be at fault (have a bad capacitor - basically +/- battery terminals are connected due to the the bad capacitor)

I had the same problem. when I opened up the back It turned out that my battery was not connected right. Maybe that's the problem you've got.

feliciabaird1995, this will be a guessing game until you disassemble your phone and take a look at the components. Like Alissa suggest, start with the battery and its connections.
