Memory Card slot damaged
Hello,
My HTC mobile memory card slot is not working. When i tried to insert memory card, it is popping out of the slot and memory card is not detecting.
Is this a good question?

socialmonkee1, sounds like you will have to disassemble your phone right down to the main board. Follow this guide for that. The SIM card reader is soldered to the board. You vould try and see if the pins are straight and clean. If you can not repair the one from your phone, you could try and replace it with a SIM Card reader from places like this. Problem is with my MicroSD card slot, not with sim card slot.
Duh, sorry about that. I will look that one up in my manual. Again, sorry about the confusion.
Just checked the manual, it is the same situation, soldered to the board. Apparently this happens quite often and it seems like a problem with the spring. Still looking for the right part.
