Hi,

nobody can answer that question without a working display. You will have to replace the display and see for yourself.

OK, a short test would be to connect the iPhone to iTunes and see if its recognized by iTunes.

I have a similar problem, I made quite a hard fall while mountainbiking. I landed on my backpack where my iPhone was. The display is broken but the front glass is still intact.

When I opened up my phone the battery and the logic board were also slightly bent, as well as the back case and the mettallic front bezel.

My iPhone was in one of those "OtterBox" cases when I fell, and ofcourse the "OtterBox" is still ok. ;-) I'm hoping it protected my iPhone enough to get it working again.

I'm thinking about trying to replace the display but I'm in doubt because the logic board was bent a little bit as well.

When I got home the first thing I did was connect it to iTunes but it wasn't recognised.

Would it be worth trying to replace the LCD display?

Thanks!

Timo

Update

For me it didn't work with repalicing the screen. I guess like Crisb said, if you connect your phone to iTunes, and it doesn't get recognised (which was the case with my phone) your probably better of not trying to fix the screen.
