Giovanni Riva here are the memory specs for your motherboard :2 * 184-pin DDR2 DIMM slots – Dual Channel DDR2 533/400 non-ECC , un-buffered memory (Max 2GB)

If in the shop I say as you said, the shop assistant will understand. Right? Becouse I don't understand any word between "motherboard" and "max "GB". :D However Thanks you again!

I am sorry about that. I should have asked if you understood what I said. Yes, any good repair shop should know which memory you need. Your motherboard only supports 2 GB memory. You will need 2x1GB memory modules. You would need something like this http://www.archmemory.com/ram.cfm/Packar... Hope this helps, good luck

Google translation:

Thanks you! I didn't understand the technical specifications. :( But the important thing is that the dealer know what it means. :) (And yes, google translation work good enough, only the tenses are a little bit confused) Thanks you again, as always your help is so much useful!!!

Giovanni Riva, all this will depend on your motherboard. Some will take different memory size, others will not. I would replace both of the modules with the largest memory that your motherboard will accept.

How I find out what is the largest memory size that my motherboard accept?

Who made your motherboard? Any numbers on it?

by

So do I must open the PC and see if there are some words that ID the motherboard?

by

There are plenty of programs out that will identify your motherboard and system, as long as it still functions. I use SiSoftware Sandra

Go to crucial.com and download the system scanner. Then the program will scan what kind of computer you have and show you the list of parts for your computer such as RAM, Hard drive and Solid State Drive
