3.5mm Cable, very sensitive. Possible fixes?

Okay well, the 3.5mm cable that comes with the Beats Pros is getting a bit sensitive. By sensitive I mean if I nudge the 'L' shape end sound cuts out in one ear.

Yes, i know they are over priced etc etc, no lecture needed :)

Any ideas how to get into the L plug to see if theres any wires loose?

felix, what do you mean by "L" shape end? Are you talking about the connector that plugs in?

by

Yep, the 90º connector that goes into the device.

Hi does it happen to other devices you plug the headphone into? maybe it is the device only? Just a thought...

felix, replace the 3.5mm connector. Not a terrible complicated job, I just repaired a bunch of those. Check this guide and it will show you the repair. They are not beats, but the plug is pretty much standard. Hope this helps, good luck.

well the only way of getting into plugs like that is cutting them , so far as i know, try to isloate the place where u have a problem with the wire ,if its the connector u might try to replace it with a new one if your good with electronics if its the wire , try cutting the isloation around it and solder it toghether.
