Constant fan after keyboard replacement

I just followed the guide over here:

MacBook Air 11" Mid 2011 Upper Case Replacement

and replaced my keyboard for my 2011 macbook air 11". Everything is working great except for one blatant issue. The fan is constantly on full blast, even when there's nothing open and it's cooled down. It seems like the mechanism for detecting when the fan needs to come on, and at what speed, stopped working.

I must have botched something up at some point. I just can't figure out what. I opened it up again to make sure I reinstalled everything correctly and there aren't any loose connections anywhere.

Has anybody had this issue? What can I do to troubleshoot? Thanks.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Ok, so my macbook air has had the fan going full blast for 2 days straight now. Does anybody have any suggestions?

On the bright side, it's definitely not overheating!

Anybody? I've been dealing with this for about 10 months now...lol

I really need to get this figured out soon because I'll be selling it. I could really use some help if anybody knows what might be causing this. Otherwise I'll need to shell out hundreds of dollars for some repair shop to overcharge me...

I suppose I could replace the fan, but it seems like it would just persist with the new one too, since it's more of a temperature miscommunication between the fan and the computer.
