change core 2 duo to quad core
I would like to know iff its possible to change a core 2 duo to a quad core. And if I can replace the screen I have now with a screen from a newer macbook pro

Sorry to say there really is no way to replace the CPU alone, The only way is replacing the entire logic board and that is still very iffy as Apple tends to move the ports & mounting studs around internally.
Given the fact you also want to swap out the display it doesn't make sense replacing everything like this between the risk and the costs.
Why don't you look at a reconditioned system from Apple or a used system that offers what you want. I think you would be much happier in the long run.
