How can I mend this problem with my Hitachi TV
I have a 42 inch hitachi plasma n it havent been turnd on 2 mobths n knaw it wont turn on?

sounds like a capacitor . These are components in power supplies.
Can you fix it ? Depends on exactly what has gone. If a capacitor then usually if one component blows on a power supply then something else has gone...
It also may be a high voltage connection which has blown due to poor contact - have seen this before and this kind of thing is repairable but you need to know what you are doing.

I have the same problem, I went out and bought a toolkit including a multimeter, large array of disassembly tools, and a soldering kit. This is my first time repairing an electronic device, but my suggestion to you is to buy some tools and learn how to use them; Youtube has some great tutorials made by professionals. I will share my progress once I manage to "fixit".
