Why light won't go out and load won't start?
The light won't go out when the door is closed. Put a load in and it will not turn on.

Terry G, try to push the door switch button and see if the light goes off in the dryer. It is possible that this is caused by a bad door switch. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter to make sure.Download the service manual from here for more information.Page 4-3 shows you how.
