How can I check the processor type of my iPad?

Is there a way in which i can check the processor type of my iPad without tearing it down, like for example looking it up in System Information or something like that?

Options

It's based on the generation of the iPad. The original iPad uses the A4. The iPad 2 uses the A5 processor and the iPad 3 uses the A5X. The iPad 4 uses the A6X.

The iPad Mini uses the same processors as the larger iPads for the most part. This is going to be based on the generation of the iPad Mini in question.
