Exchanging droid x digitizer with droid x2 digitizer?

I have a droid X that has several black spots on the screen. According to the troubleshooting guide it is the LCD digitizer. I also have a Droid X2 that has sustained water damage and no longer works. Can I use the LCD digitizer from the X2 in the Droid X? Are they compatable? Does water damage ruin the digitizer?

the LCD's are different and you would have to know if it is a type A connector or type B connector. The type B digitizers are compatible, Type A only works for the X2 type A models. You can pick one up for about $30 or have it done for less than $100. Water damage can destroy the connection on the LCD to the PC board so you want to clean it quickly.
