I get a completely green screen since I replaced the LCD screen.

I think I carefully followed all the directions to replace my LCD screen. The screen was completely cracked but the iPad worked fine before I replaced the screen. Now, when I hit the On button, I get a completely bright green screen - lots of lines - that look like static. In the very center of the screen is a picture of what looks like a typewriter with a lightning bolt directly above it.

Obviously, I've done something wrong. Any clues?
