Is the hard drive upgradable to WD VelociRaptor?
Would the WD VelociRaptor 1 TB Internal hard drive Serial ATA-600 3.5" 10000 rpm fit and work in a iMac early 2009 EMC 2267?
Is this a good question?

The higher RPM of the VelociRaptor (10k) Vs W/D Black or Blue models (7.2k) will cause some heat issues.
If you are planning to do a lot of constant drive access I would not recommend using it as your system will over heat.
A better solution is to use either the Black or Blue models 1TB drives and then add in a SSD to gain the speed benefit for booting. A much cooler option then the VelociRaptor.
I would also increase the RAM if you note a lot of swapping going on.
