iPod does not turn on after repair. How can I fix it?

I know this question has been asked before but since this is an old question maybe a better answer has been found or even a video. So basically I change my iPod screen (this was not the first one I repaired) and not the LCD does not turn on even the old one.

Is it possible that I unplugged the battery or something?

Thank you for your help!

Great job in getting it done. All you have left to do, is to accept this answer. Yes, it is okay to accept your own answer. That way any body looking for a working answer will know that this is it. Again, great job.
