Take another look at it v4 is usually the version, most like a G series. Check to see if you find a number like this F5D7234-4 for example. you can usually find the number on a sticker located on the bottom.what becomes important is the "protocol" For example, if you router supports 802.11g, it operates at radio frequencies between 2.400 GHz and 2.4835 GHz.
