MIC is not heard

Hi, I know that it's an old problem, but my MIC problem is not only on GSM calls, but also in wifi calls (with Talkatone) and even in Voice memo.

It's very strange because whatever I say in the MIC is not heard, only when I blow in the MIC. And when I switch to Speaker Mode, there is no problems, I can be heard. I removed the back cover to make some pressure points at different places, same problem. I run iOS 6.0.1.

Do you have any ideas on what parts should i try to change?? The dock connector assembly ?? Or there is a problem with the audio IC??

Thanks

hi oliver, i would try and change te dock connector and see if this fixes the problem. there are 2 mic's in the iPhone. when its on speaker mode it could be using the second mic (next to headphonejack) and that why it works.

if the dock connector doesn't help, you will have to replace/reball audio ic
