Replacing OEM LCD Screen

Hi,

I've just bought a PSP 1000 off eBay with a broken screen.

My question is that can you identify which is the best screen by the part numbers on the front?

There are at least two different screens on sale on eBay, one with a dimmer backlight than the original and then the higher quality one.

I noticed from the LCD replacement guide on here that the PSP used had a part number of K3146.

I have seen some on eBay made by Sharp with part number LQ043 K3146. Are these OEM parts?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

My recommendation is: open your psp and get the model numer and part number and try to get the same.

Anyway, on ebay and alibaba you can find cheaper ones.

Mostly you'll find Sharp.

Thanks for the info. Did Sharp not make the screens for the PSP originally? Like I said on the LCD Replacement tutorial on ifixit I noticed that the screen on the unit during tear down had the same part number as the Sharp ones on eBay
