1 loose hinges both sides
the air's hinges swing about 1" back and forth is the problem the hinge or is it the the hinge clutch, if it can either how can it determine the exact part that is needed to be replaced. the parts seem to be expensive so i dont want to buy the wrong parts or parts i dont need.

Have you tried going to an Apple Store to see what they think or can do for you? It maybe under warranty.
