Noisy CPU fan

Hello !

The CPU fan of my N76 (N76VM) is a little noisy even at idle. Do you think it can be replaced by another fan ?

I have an MSI which had a noisy fan. I replaced it twice. The third time, after receiving the new fan, I noticed that after removal from the motherboard,I couldfix the fan by sliding the plastic blades from the spindle. I then added one small drop of light oil to the spindle, replaced the old blades and it has been working for months without any noise. Cheaper than buying a replacement. I did have to use some heat transfer paste to replace the fan and heat sink over the CPU and GPU.

Has it always been an issue or did it just recently start to behave like this? It it was recent, then you will just need to get a new fan for the model. I don't believe you can put in a different kind of fan and have it work correctly.
