I want to buy the latest Mac mini but wanted to know a few things before hand. Does the New Mac mini support additional hard drive like its predecessor? With Intel 4000 graphics chipset in it, would it support screen resolutions more than 1920 x 1080 ?

As you know Apple just reconfigured the Mac Mini this Oct so its hard to tell what internally they may have altered. Looking at the Apple web site under custom configurations you can buy a server version with two drives so I would say it's possible.
The Intel HD Graphics 4000 has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600
