My 5 year old hit the top of the XBox and it stopped working. No lights or anything. I took it apart and found nothing out of the ordinary. There were no burns, missing parts, and I checked it good. I put it back together after a good cleaning and it still does not work. Thank you

Yep, I would blame the power supply first. Try to borrow a friends power supply that you know works and use it. Beyond that, you may have to bring it to someone to check fuses.

Hi, even if the hard drive was faulty, it still needs to show some kind of activity. Have a read on the link given below and reply back with what u did. Good luck.

Have you checked the power supply with a meter to see if you get power to the Xbox?

You'll have to be more specific when you say "stopped working". Example: Won't read disks, wont power on, can't open the tray....

There is no power going from the power supply to the motherboard. It is not the power supply. I opened it and gave it a good cleaning. There are no scorch marks, loose components, bad solders, missing pieces (I did not find any loose pieces), or anything that looks out of the ordinary. I tried it with and without the hard drive installed.

okay, so did you check the output of the power supply with a multimeter?
