Would Super glue be ok to use instead of adhesive?

As the titles says I was just wondering. The guy I sent my iPod to fixed my iPod /SCREEN/ but didn't use and adhesive and since he's on holiday till' next January, I was wondering if super glue would be an ok alternative for adhesive. I search around but didn't find any real answers. So I was hoping you bunch could help a sister out?

Kaela, my first answer would be a "no way". Never use super glue. If you ever need to disassemble your iPod again, superglue is a mess to deal with. The proper way would be to use something like the 3M adhesive strips.

Where exactly could I get this? I've seen some around, but I don't know if they're 3M as they don't say anything.

It is okay to not necessarily use 3M, as long as they are adhesive strips. The strips are available at places like this

E6000 adhesive works very well and can be removed again if the need arises. Its much easier to deal with than the adhesive strips but be careful not to use too much.
