iPhone 4 - Overheat and Battery Drain (Upper Right)

Ok. Phone not dropped, no water damage.

All of sudden phone began to get very very hot right at the top right of the phone (screen facing you).

I did a restore of the phone, not fixed. Battery drains 1-3% per minute. I searched through Forum and did not find this specific issue.

Thank you for any help.

it's basically your camera overheating. If you take off the back panel and plug your phone into the charger, you'll notice that the camera is considerably overheating to the point where it is too hot to touch. I am not quite sure WHY it does this, but for now, taking out the camera part will make the phone work like normal just without the camera function.

Sounds like the power amp is going what is getting hot and is draining the battery. In other words, the logic board is pretty much shot.
