broken #5 cable inside iPhone 3GS, can it be fixed?

I was replacing the battery in my iphone 3gs, and somehow broke the #5 ribbon cable that connects to the motherboard, can this be fixed?

Flex Cable #5 on iPhone 3GS (and iPhone 3G) is the Headphone Jack Flex Cable. It has internal (power button, volume buttons, mute/vibrate button). The replacement of this Flex Cable is considered among the most difficult repair of all iPhones past and present.

Without looking at the inside of one, I believe what you are referring to is the antenna connection. You can either simply replace the charge port, which comes with a new one or you can remove one from an old charge port.
