White blank screen after replacing broken screen.

So recently I bought a replacement screen for my iPod Touch 4G because i had dropped it and the screen had cracked. I replaced the screen following a youtube video. After i was done, i connected everything before screwing in the screws and adding the adhesive and the screen work fine. After i screwed in the metal plate, i check again and it had a blank white screen. I tried to hold the home + power button until it went black, but the iPod seems to turn off completely instead of resetting. When i connect the ipod into my laptop, it pops up like a normal iPod and i'm able to sync everything but the screen is always white.

Help please !
