replace windshield wiper inserts

Good luck finding them any more.

I haven't found a supplier for just the rubber wiper inserts for years and many of the newer metal or plastic wiper assemblies don't offer the needed clips to hold them if you can get ones that might support replaceable inserts. Many have crimped ends so you have no way to remove the old rubber wiper insert.

Replacing the entire wiper is now the only way. Lift the arm and press the hinge clip to release the wiper. I've moved to the low profile plastic blade type and find them very good in both rain & snow.
