Hi there my dock connector is not working propoerly. After numerous tests connecting different cables and various iPods with my MacBook Pro, I I have come to the conlusion that the bottom connector is not functioning properly. Do you have a part and a fix for this?

Unfortunately, you cannot replace just the dock connector on the iPod Video. It is integrated onto the logic board, so you have to replace the whole logic board. Here is the guide on how to replace it.

Hi,

try to listen to music via dock and headphone and try to connect the iPod to another computer, if all that doesn't works i would guess that the logic board is damaged.

Hi,

I would rather check if there isnt a pin missing in the connection socket. if there is one missing ( it should be iether pin nr 25 or 27, google it) its pretty easy to solder a bridge if you have the tools!
