Your air outlet is blocked or too long! Does the dryer vent immediately outside or does it have to travel a bit before exiting?
Remove dryer vent line and use a shop vac to both blow and suck up any blockage! If no blockage, it may just be too humid.

aug 31st entry was correct, my dryer was pushed to far back against the wall blocking the air outlet.

Does is have a filter that needs to be cleaned? Is the air output blocked? How long does it usually takes? How long has this been going on?

joanne, check the dryer fuses in your breaker panel. Your dryer requires 220V and there should be two fuses. Make sure that both fuses breakers are on, otherwise your dryer will not get hot enough.
