I put mine into disk mode, then it said it was ready to use. After that a symbol came up (that keeps coming up) of an iPod with a frownie face and a hazard triangle saying "apple.com/support/ and nothing is helping me out. I am trying to restore my ipod but it won't connect to iTunes nor will it turn on. What can I do?

This is usually caused by a bad hard drive. If it does not come on it will not get restored. You may start with a new battery
