Screen will not stay glued

So I'm at the last few steps and now the screen will not stay glued down. Its almost like something is blocking it from laying completely flat. If I put just the slightest pressure on the screen it feels like it may break so thats no an option. It also makes an imprint kind of like when you press against the screen hard enough on a laptop.

Has anyone had this problem? Please help.

mattreyes, check this answer iPod screen not sitting well It is normal that the screen behaves odd when you apply pressure on it. It is not meant for that:) after all, you are dealing with liquid crystals. Check the cable position underneath the display to make sure it is all where it is supposed to be.

Thanks oldturkey0! I watched so many videos and I can't believe that small detail prevented me from finishing this up. I got the flex cable pushed back properly and now I just need to add adhesive and I'm done.
