Subwoofer/Right Speaker cable instructions

I was replacing the glass panel on the MacBook Pro and followed the instructions here:

MacBook Pro 13" Unibody Mid 2009 LCD Replacement

Step 4 says: Use the flat end of a spudger to pry the subwoofer/right speaker cable connector up off its socket on the logic board

I did this, and it seemed to go smoothly, but now I can't reattach the cable. There is no photo, or description of how to reattach. The instructions just say that you should do the reverse of whatever you did earlier.

One user comment says that the instructions are wrong and that the cable should not be pried off its socket, but that it should be pulled out of its socket - a subtle but quite distinct difference.

Who is correct, the commenter, or the instructions?

How do I reattach the cable?

Thanks

If you look very closely at the connector, you'll see that there are a couple of notches that require you to disconnect the cable by prying up, rather than out. To put it back, you should place the end of the cable connector into the socket first and then press straight down as you flatten the connector. Be firm, but don't manhandle it.

Thank you for taking the time to answer this question. It helped me to shine a flashlight under the connector so I could better the see the end of the connector. If done correctly you should feel it go in.
