Does this model MBP contain moisture indicators?

I currently had water enter my laptop but no damage was done. I am also still under warrant. If something goes wrong, are there indicators in my MacBook Pro that will void my warranty in the presence of water?

I believe that it wasn't until the Unibody MBP's and Early 2009 MacBooks that liquid damage indicators were employed in the machine. However, liquid damage can be very evident just by looking at the board, depending on how much got in.

If you have any concern with the laptop and it is still under warranty I would strongly suggest buying AppleCare for your machine to take the warranty out to 3 total years. I have not seen any indicators inside the computer you have. If your computer is running normally now, you should have no problems. Now if you spill a liquid in it that is of an acid content you are out of luck as it will eat at the board. I recently cleaned out a MacBook that had milk spilled in it and would not run. I sprayed down the board with "GC Electronics" Big Bath ISO contact cleaner and it has been working without issue for 5 months now.

Good luck

WARNING: Do not use this spray cleaner on plastic or the keyboard. The plastic can be damaged and the type on the keys can be wiped away. Use only on removed logic board.
