-I've recently bought a used ipod really cheap, but it came with some problems; the battery, audio jack and the click wheel button. I thought of fixing it myself, since i want to save some money, instead of buying a new one. The problems were the next; Battery would only last for 2-3 hours, Audio jack would only have sound on one side of the ear and it could only have sound on both by pressing the head phone's plug,"Upward or downward" putting presure to able to hear on both. Click wheel button problem; it was cracked.
The repair went smoothly and really easy to install; by following the webpage's instructions. Once i opened the case with the reapair tools that come along, it was indeed easy to take apart the old battery and the audio jack. i put everything back together in place with no problems just by reading and following instructions really careful anybody can do it, "I did it in less than 10 minutes".
Read the instructions carefully and always make sure to double check, if you are buying the correct part for your ipod model. It is always better to read, double check and get advices in the ifixit forums in order to have a succesful repair,("Sorry no pictures this time"). thanks a lot ifixit -Ivan

The center button on my iPod Video had stopped clicking - sometimes a press would respond, but most often not. The iPod was effectively useless.
The process was straightforward
I really only had one problem with the repair: my hands are too big. Many of the pieces of the iPod are very, very small (especially the small black screws on the inside, which are roughly the same size as a sesame seed). Working with a strong light on a light-colored work surface is definitely recommended. Also, iFixit was out of white buttons, so now my iPod has a sassy black button, which I actually kind of like.

My ipod was unfixable. But it had went thur ALOT... The battery was swollen and the click wheel was messed up. BUT even tho I was unable to get it working again "ifixit" was great to buy from.
Watching the videos on how to fix it went GREAT. I had NO problems getting into my ipod and changing everthing I needed to.

Front panel was broken for a while and just got tiered of looking at it. I didn't have the money to purchase a new iPod or send it to go get it fixed. So my friend told me about the ifixit site and ordered what I needed. It saved me a lot of money.
It was fairly simple. Tough part was trying to pry it open. After opening it, it was all pretty easy.
Nothing to add, just following the guide you guys provided was enough help.
