My Problem
I left my nano in my watch pocket and it was washed. Not at good thing. Better ways to clean the screen....after the thorough cleaning, nano would sync up to computer but no screen display.
My Fix
putting in a new screen did not solve the problem but it was easy to swap out the screen
My Advice
Don't forget your nano in your watch pocket, it's not waterproof. duh
My Problem
The Ipod was prviously dropped on a hard serface causing the screen to splinter.
My Fix
The total repair time too about 5 mins. Guides on Ifixit were very insightful and thorough. Hardest part was getting the miniture srews out of the EMI shield and getting the screen tucked in.
My Advice
Watch the screws don't run away. the guide does not show how the new screen tucks inside the side where the display used to be dont panic, it's eay. just play with it.
My Problem
The nano's screen was cracked after falling on pavement
My Fix
The directions were great. The two connectors are extremely tiny and required some trial and error for a solid fit.
My Advice
Be gentle when aligning the two tiny connectors and make sure the final connection is good. Otherwise, the process is simple. Don't over do the heat.
