I pod select button not working.

My Problem

The challenge.

My Fix

Everything went fine till I came to removing the cable to the hard drive. It fell apart. I moved forward to the select button. Upon investigation, noticed that the cushion behind the select button from the factory had slipped sideways. Reposition it and installed the select button, reassembled the iPOD and it now works.

My Advice

I question why to disconnect the hard drive.
