I had shattered the back panel of my iPhone 4s
About as smoothly as possible, for the rear panel replacement. Took probably 2 minutes to unscrew, uninstall, install, and rescrew.
For the screen protector, I didn't clean my screen nearly well enough, and it didn't take. It was just a bonus anyway, so I wasn't too upset.
If you're going to install a screen protector, CLEAN YOUR SCREEN WELL first. This should be a no-brainer. But guess I didn't have a brain that day.

My iPhone 4s had no existing problems, but I liked the look of the clear backplate.
The Revelation kit was well-packaged, and instructions clear. Installing it only took about 5 minutes, and there were no significant problems.
The iPhone Revelation kit is a great value and worth it for anyone who likes the technical aesthetic, which frequently get compliments on.

The problem with my iPhone 4s was that i had no idea the battery was swollen. I would charge it to 100% and right after it would die. The only way my phone would stay on would be at a constant charge. I bought a Mophie Juice Pack to keep my phone on at all times. Being that sometimes it would just shut off I thought it was time for a new phone. Being that i did not want to dish out money for a new phone i came across ifixit.
The repair was a success. It took no longer than 20 min and right after i took out the old swollen battery the new one was great and lasted almost a day & a half without charge. I'm glad i found the ifixit website.
Previously to buying any kit and tools to do the repair i found it best to watch videos concerning your problems. Get familiar with all the visual picture and videos so that when the day comes and your tools arrive to do the repair it feels like second nature and you will repair it with ease.

The front screen was broken at the bottom left corner and the back was shattered at the bottom center.
Smooth as silk ! The step-by-step instructions with pictures were spot on and very helpful ! Great job, iFixIt !
Have a container for the myriad of tiny screws ! I numbered spots to correspond with the step in the tutorial to help me remember which screw went where.
