Hard drive was corrupt
My Fix
Took me about an hour. The repair went smooth, and I got to clean the inside of my computer!
My Advice
Steps 10 and 11 where a little different. I could just tilt the right side of the LCD panel up to vertical because the connector cable was on the left side. I just had my son hold it vertical while I then removed the hard drive. That way I didn't need to remove the second LCD cable which seems difficult to get to and especially difficult to reconnect.
